Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to install custom ringtones on an Apple iPhone:

Step 1: Prepare the ringtone file

  1. Choose your ringtone:

    • Ensure your ringtone is in a format supported by Apple iPhone, such as M4R.

Step 2: Transfer the ringtone to your Apple iPhone

  1. Transfer via USB cable:

    • Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable.

    • Open iTunes (or Finder on macOS). If you are using Windows, you must install Apple iTunes app first.

    • Drag and drop the M4R file into iTunes to add it to your library.

    • If using Finder on macOS, click on Your iPhone in the app, and drag and drop the M4R file into iTunes to add it to your library

Step 3: Set the ringtone as a WakeUp bell on your Apple iPhone

  1. Open the Clock app

    • It’s a default app with a white clock icon.

  2. Go to the Alarm tab

    • Tap “Alarm” at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Add or Edit an Alarm

    • Tap the + button to create a new alarm, or tap Edit and choose an existing alarm.
  4. Tap “Sound”

    • This opens the list of available alarm tones.

  5. Scroll and choose “Wake Up Bell”

    • If it’s not listed, you can choose another tone or use a custom sound (see below).

  6. Tap “Back” and then “Save”

    • Your alarm will now use the Wake Up Bell sound.
